While dining at Jollibee one afternoon, a friendly staff approached us and asked if we wanted to make our son a member of the Jollibee Kids Club (JKC). I was about to graciously turn down the offer, but then she quickly added that such membership had truckloads of benefits, including that of an Art Workshop scheduled just a few weeks away.
That piece of information however tweaked my interest. I sincerely thought this activity might just be the thing to help raise my son ‘s appreciation for arts and crafts up a notch.
During the workshop itself, I realized that Tutapel wasn’t the only one who had a great time. It turned out that I too enjoyed making these pimped-up glasses with him.
What made our day even more worthwhile was when Tutapel had a photo-op with his new BFF, who else but the extremely lovable and super cuddly Jollibee mascot!
Since we had a positive experience with the Art Workshop, it was but natural for us to look forward to other JKC Workshops as well. Despite our willingness to participate, only one workshop worked out in the end- that of of the Jollibee Kids Club Talent Camp.
Normally held every summer, the JKC Talent Camp is a six-day workshop that aims to boost confidence among school-aged kids through a series of interesting activities in acting, art, singing, dancing and even burger-making. The event culminates in a high-octane graduation ceremony featuring campers from various Jollibee branches doing what they do best in their chosen field of expression.
If you want to enter your child to this year’s JKC Talent Camp, simply go to your Jollibee branch of choice and inquire on their next camp schedule. Fee is Php 500 for existing Jollibee Kids Club members and Php 550 for non-members which is already inclusive of the membership fee.
Upon registration, your child will receive a colorful pair of shirt and cap which will serve as his or her uniform all throughout the camp.
Have a fun time learning and making new friends in this year’s JKC Talent Camp!
