A DIY Hong Kong Tour can be quite exhausting yet extremely fulfilling. At least for those four days we spent in HK, we felt like locals caught in the crossfire of raging city life. However our next destination proved to be a difficult one. For it required us not just to ride a taxi but to take the ferry and the bus as well.
This particular tramcar though has been modernized in 1989 to accommodate 120 passengers. Since the Peak Tram is 396 meters or about 1,300 feet high, I felt that all the structures we passed by were leaning during our journey.
No one can deny the fact that almost all of the wax figures can pass for the real thing. You’ll be interested to know that the artists’ secrets in making these life-like wax figures are revealed in a brochure available at the ticket booth. Don’t forget to purchase a copy before entering the museum.

What a wonderful post. The wax figure of Nicole Kidman looks almost life-like
Hi Alisa! Thanks for visiting my blog! You're so right. I felt that Nicole was right there with me…
hi kaye… im just wondering how it feel like to ride the tram? how long it take to get to the top? is it slow or fast? is it like taking the mtr? is it scary?.. sorry.. im afraid of high.. hope its not scary much.. like to try… 🙂
hi aSh aBd!Thanks so much for the visit! The tram ride was only rather short, about 10 minutes if my memory is right. don't worry. you'll just feel like the train is moving sideways, the same feeling you get when you ride the bullet train in tokyo. sometimes though you get the same feeling when you ride the elevator–sort of fighting against gravity. but not too much. do tell me all about your experience there okay?
awesome post wish i read it before our trip. btw thanks for the visit to my blog. 🙂
Hi Piggy! Though you weren't able to visit this, your The Peak experience is still worth noting. Ang gandah ng pics ninyo!
great pictures..how come di ko nakita si Nicholas Cage and Leonardo Di Caprio sa Madame Tussauds huhuhu. Anyways, i love the pictures, it brings back great memories. Di pa nga ako masyadong nakaka-recover from our HK trip recently eh. I wish to go back…it's nice to see you brought your toddler. How old is he? Sana madala ko din baby ko next time. But I'm worried kasi mapagod agad sya sa mga lakaran or maging limited your itinerary eh…lolz
hi wandergirl! thanks ha.i know what you mean…there's that possibility nga na mapagod ang kids kasi lakad ng lakad. hihihi. he was 1 year and 10 months when we went there. so ang mas napagod yung taga-karga which was my hubby…hihihi.
