In the morning of September 11, my friend Cel and I went to the Manila Hotel just to get a glimpse of Rain. Sparkling chandeliers seemed to be a prelude of wonderful sightings to come. 
Into the first hour, Rain was still nowhere in sight. With tummies growling out of hunger and exhaustion, we had a snack at the restaurant where Rain’s staff usually dined–we later found out. 
A commotion started just outside of the restaurant and we thought it was Rain at the center of it all. Amid shrieks and screams, I got my camera and took a shot without thinking. It turned out to be U-Kiss! 
Although all I caught were their backs in this particular shot, we did get to see them at their best during the concert to the delight of both Rain and U-Kiss fans.
